And an eelgrass vs kelp debate:

Pro kelp:

~ Its food for people and animals

~ It’s used in products like ice cream and toothpaste

~ Seals and sea otters like to live in it

~ It grows to 60 metres long

~ It’s a good place to find big fish

Pro eelgrass:

~ It makes a home for baby fish

~It’s easier to find

~ It’s more accessible to kids and makes them more likely to be conservationists

~ It’s a prettier green colour
